The positive path is the integral path. The only "one truth" is that THE
truth is the composite of all truths. There is no "one truth" or one reality. If
there were only one truth there would only be one person, place, thing. Look around you.
All beings are all the ways that "All That Is" has of expressing itself (these
truths) within the creation that it is. It is the disbelief in one's own power to be what
it inspires them to be that creates negativity and the belief in the need to attack ideas
that the negative ego fears will invalidate identity.
Self-Empowered- Is the recognition that we have everything we need at any given moment to
be the fullest we can be. It embraces the idea that we know we create our reality 100% by
what we believe and/or have been taught to believe to be "true." The empowered
individual recognizes that their reality is created from all levels of psychic material,
i.e., unconscious, conscious, collective unconscious, superconscious, and that although
they may be at a loss in the present to understand how the reality they have created fits,
it still must fit, and that sooner or later they will understand why they have created
what they have created. They understand that the physical world is the effect of
the non-physical spiritual template archetypally, and that all springs from the inner self
which is connected firmly to "All That Is". This archetypal template is
reflected through the Zodiac and galactic and planetary relationships.
Empowerment comes from within. Knowing we are as connected to the ALL as we will ever be,
we can trust that we lack nothing, we have all the tools and all the abilities that we
require at any given moment to be anything we are willing and bold enough to believe we
can define ourselves to be. We are always in control 100% even when we use 90% to create
the illusion that we have only the other 10%. No one can make us feel inferior, thwart our
inspirations, or derail what we know to be true for ourselves without our agreement and
consent. The self-empowered being recognizes that the universe has no built-in meaning and
this view is the unbiased and discerning view. Taking responsibility (not guilt) for our
reality because we know it is our creation, is the self-empowered approach. Many
confuse acknowledging one's creations with believing we must be punished or shamed for
them (guilt, the opposite of love). This is from judging the creation and hence ourselves,
not taking responsibility for it.
Integrity= Functioning as an integrated whole self, without placing power outside of the
self, because nothing is truly outside of the self. Integrity consists of the recognition
that we are as powerful as we need to be to create whatever we desire to create in our
reality, without having to MALIGN or HURT ourselves or anyone
else in order to create it (power-LESS behavior). We are always a part of the problem or
of the solution. Our position on this scale is defined by our actions. Action is the
evidence of the convictions, intentions, and beliefs held by an individual. Intention can
only be conveyed by the creator of the intention (please see my discussions of discernment
vs. projection). If it is true for them, then integrity will follow and only the positive
can result from integral intentions.
Because we create our reality utterly, we are not responsible FOR anyone
only responsible TO them by being as much as we can be in integrity by
following our bliss and excitement and discerning our OWN intention. The All is vibration,
and the vibration you are within this all will BE the reality you experience everywhere,
all the time. No matter what other reality may be in existence at any given
moment. It always works this way, and no-one is exempt.
Negative beliefs do not have any more power than positive. Ridicule is negative and tells
us of the perpetrator, not the ridiculed. These ideas are choices, so they are not
necessarily "unfortunate", for every being creates their reality utterly as the
product of what they believe or have been taught to believe is true. The truth is composed
of all truths within any given system of reference containing its own reinforcing logic.
Any individual or group who acts as though they must force their opinions and beliefs upon
any other faction, cannot believe in the power of those beliefs themselves.
Individuals can choose act in positive ways or in negative ways.
A) Positive is simply integrative, unifying, expansive, inclusive as a WHOLE (integral).
B) Negative is separative, segregative, limited, conflicted functions in PARTS.
But the positive individual, by the light by which they shine, will simply show the
negative individual(s) that they are;
A) Untouchable and unthwarted by anything that is not of a similar vibration. And that;
B) They offer back to the negative individual(s) an offering of a choice, a choice to also
be positive. If the other(s) do not choose to be positive then they can simply go their
own way, for that which is negative cannot exist within the blinding light of that which
is positive, it is simple mechanics-physics. Even if they are sitting next to
you. That is all. Even if the negativity is intentional, the positive person will still
extract a positive effect and resolve developmental tension to
harness positive benefit.
Action is the manifested evidence of conviction and belief, because life happens through
you not to you.
No one can interpret a life or vibrational level at which they themselves have not, or are
not capable of functioning, because all is vibration.

Bashar and The Association

The all seeing eye or apex of the pyramid (the 3rd sign of each element and 4th sign of
each mode), is the symbolic reference to the integration of the self and movement towards
self actualizing expression. When an individual asserts truths that are threatening to the
status quo, many individuals fear that their well organized (often dogmatic) beliefs
systems are in jeopardy. But transformation is not the product of mediocrity, and
opposition is to be expected when frail and rigid belief systems are exposed for what they
are; ego defenses from fears of invalidation. This results in attacks and defensiveness on
the part of those whose dogma is being disrupted.

Like an individual defending his/her identity from perceived threats, so factions will
seek to maintain sameness even in the face of obvious evidence that their world may have
indeed been built on fallacious thinking and limited negativity. This is negative ego
rearing its head, and the reason for all pain and suffering on this planet is this
separative view, and resistance to growth. The reason why wars ensue is from the disbelief
in self-empowered thinking. A lack of allowing all truths to be true and a positive belief
that there is plenty of room for all to live and express. Hence, fears of scarcity are
also at issue. Helping those who fear invalidation to believe in themselves turns us from
conflict.
The soothing and relaxing of the negative ego is through a recognition of the oneness of
all on the planet in the end. And that however fear generating new ideas may be, we must
embrace and allow them. Great men and women are harassed, ridiculed, condemned and
crucified-only to later be revered as pioneers and altering the course of history.
Recognizing our reluctance to accept new ideas in the past, can allow us the foresight to
react to new ones in the present with prudence. When relaxation of judgment occurs, self
acceptance occurs, and the acceptance of others is made effortless.

The Apex is the accelerated point of the triad of belief-emotion-thought
Metaphorically it is because e-motion or the energy motion of an idea culminates
in the apex signs Capricorn through Pisces.
Why? Because these are the projected and externalized versions of the opposites of the base
of the pyramid;
Cancer=the inner self and belief that creates the physical
experiences, Leo=the actual creative extension of the self-the actions
of convicted belief, Virgo=the discernment of the self's creations and the practical
application of them in physicality, the beginning of
introspection that either allows the truth to make us free (12th house Pisces) or confines
us from unbalanced and subjective perspectives and thoughts.

The retrogradation of the inner planets represent the functions of the personality and
conscious mind. They are the archetypes that are the "closest" to the primary
idea we chose to express in physical reality (the Sun) as opposed to the outer planets
that are more unconscious and subconscious in meaning.
Retrogradation of either inner or outer planets reflect the judgment and repression of the
planet involved. There is a reassessment of the idea (archetypal) that the planet
retrograde represents. The sign of the template that the planet is in will reflect what
the issues of reassessment will revolve around. The self believes it cannot "move
forward" with the idea of the archetype that the planet represents. Rx is,
psychologically speaking, a paradoxical conflict for the individual as they seek a balance
in the expression of the archetype. There is much untangling to be done concerning the
function and archetype of the planet and sign involved. Reflecting a "retake"
through successive incarnations- it is as if "at first you don't succeed try try
again." (see Reincarnation and Karma, Yott).
What will serve best as an analogy is the concept I have termed the overcompensation
pendulum introduced in my book. We Will use Mars as our example.
In one life the identity may create scenarios wherein the attempt to prove the self gets
out of hand. Insecurity may increase the behavior of the need to prove the self to
compensate. Others may be "put off" by the pushiness that has been increasing.
The identity may then feel alienation and push harder to prove the self to validate the
identity. A vicious cycle is created of alienation followed by more belligerent pushing.
This escalates perhaps to physical violence or even murder, "I will show them!"
This unnatural aggression will create feelings of guilt (either in the life we are
discussing or the next). The identity is out of integrity expressing negative energy (a
negative spiral).
The effect of these defensive momentums, is the reincarnation of the individual with a
repulsion for "aggressive people" out of guilt and judgment of the self and it's
past behavior, now turned to projection. We teach best what we ourselves are learning. The
reincarnation horoscope will then have Mars retrograde. Natural aggression in the previous
life, turned to unnatural aggression in the present through judgment. Now in this life
(through the pendulum swing) natural aggression is repressed from the fear that
"aggression" is the root of all evil. Energy goes in before it goes out. This is
not natural. The natural state is spontaneity. Projection of these beliefs ensues;
"Other people always deny me my right to make my own decisions-to do what I want to
do. I need to prove to myself and them that I can handle things."
These attitudes are the effect of the individual's own unwillingness to take naturally
spontaneous actions in the life, because of their own inability to maintain integrity
previously. When this person finally takes action after "they've had it with
repression," their actions may once again be belligerent and individuals are hurt,
here goes the pendulum again. The pendulum swings from rashness to repression. As the
pendulum slows through the incorporation of responsibility for the creation of the
scenario, the median point, the balanced point of natural aggression will resume. If the
judgment of the self continues out of control Mars will not only be retrograde but
increasingly developmental through aspects placement etc.. Until responsibility for
creation of the scenarios connected with the archetype represented by the planet are
acknowledged, the pendulum will continue to swing.
A parental structure will be chosen by the higher self upon incarnation that will be of a
nature that allows the individual to reinforce it's own feelings of unnatural aggression
and guilt. Or to set up developmental scenarios that bring them to light. In this
particular case with Mars, perhaps through a rigid environment of moral or religious guilt
"tripping."
The pendulum of retrograde planets reflect primarily the reassessment of actions taken.
This is done in order to achieve a higher level of understanding, and a balance point of
the archetypal function the planet represents. It is the assimilation of the
"forward" experience that is being reassessed. Two steps forward, one back.
The retrogradation condition will represent an invalidation of the archetype of the planet
involved. In the Mars example, the guilt from aggression in the previous life reflects the
belief that aggression is "bad" and should be controlled. Therefore, a denial of
energies in this life, will be unbalanced to the extreme in the next life. There will be
resistance to spontaneous desire and aggression. It is always a factor in the early
environment and the schema of attachment in some way.
First and foremost, the retrograde condition is the effect of value judging the idea the
planet reflects i.e. Mars= the need to prove the self. We all choose to incarnate to
experience and express certain ideas. But it is this conscious mind judgment of
"things" that creates the pendulum swing. The injection of values. The oversoul
or higher self chooses scenarios (that may appear to be "fated") to assist the
individual to learn to place the archetype function into proper perspective. The
psychological, and often unconscious effect of the retrograde condition manifests as an
extreme focus on the retrograde planet. The planet reflects an overcompensatory state.
There are other delineations in the chart that will confirm these deductions when traced.
For example in the Mars Rx person's overcompensation, a further deduction of a negative
belief about the archetype, would be the planet's placement in the signs Libra (social
acceptance) or Cancer (emotional security). It is the negative attitude, approach and the
belief the person holds that causes the problems. When this changes so does the momentum.
Here are some current guidelines and questions about operationalizing and defining
experiments. Some have accused me of being unscientific. I am fully aware of the validity
and usefulness of science as a way to investigate our universe, and have designed my own
experiments at San Diego State University in psychology.
I always integrate all paradigms into the base of knowledge I
have, and believe all serve in our quest to understand existence. Art has brought me to
some realizations science never could have.
For anyone thinking of testing astrology;
It would be very instructive in this regard to know just what you believe astrology to be
first (see my Astrological Definitions.) Also..
Since theories determine what we observe;
1) What is your motive for the test?
2) What are your qualifications to do research?
3) Will you be able to operationalize the issues before testing?
4) What are your astrological qualifications?
5) Where will the results be published?
Here are some considerations we would need to create a strong experiment in astrology;
First in ANY test or scientific research it is assumed that understanding is TENTATIVE.
Skepticism is the perspective that perfect knowledge is not possible.
General notes;
Observational studies have the ability to be more generalizable and natural but have
little control over lurking variables. Sample surveys is one kind.
Experiments deliberately impose treatment or change in order to observe effects, are more
controlled and allow for causal statements (if met by conditions outlined below).
But experiments are more clinical, not natural, isolated, and may lessen real world
application.
Here are other rules and considerations;
1) The use of an unbiased sampling method. In this case because we may be measuring
categorical variables they would need to be SRS.
2) Minimizing the variables that differ between groups EXCEPT the explanatory variable.
Astrology has 5.393707075 x 10 58th factors (according to Doris Chase Doane) to measure
(minimum). Not counting psychology and free will factors-that's a lot of lurking
variables. If you are measuring astrology and not Sunsign newspaper trash.
3) Maximizing the difference between groups on explanatory variable.
4) How will you impose random assignments, produce replication, block for sex differences
and deal with an unbelievable variety of categorical variables?
5) Did we control for demand characteristics? (that individuals are unable to figure out
the meaning of the test).
6) What are the limits of veridicality?
7) Is the causation internal and subjective or external and objective?
8) what are the prevailing factors at time of testing that may determine locus of
causation?
9) Is there a functional attribution error probability on the part of the experimenter?
Observational bias?
When can we say something "causes" something?
In order to make causal statements with regard to correlations one must have;
1) Cause must precede effect.
2) Cause and effect must co-vary.
3) All other possible explanations between cause and effect must be ruled out.
Correlations do not imply explanation. A correlation is a QUANTITATIVE
description of the strength and direction of the two variables. Most
astrological interpretations are QUALITATIVE. Most behavioral studies are observational
and more natural.
Correlations are greatly affected by outliers (anomaly). Outliers makes predictions
less accurate.
Statistics?
Inferential statistic=based on PROBABILITY, which is all one will get-not
"proof." It compares what would happen by chance if only done once as compared
to what would be results over many or time. We simply get statements of the HO (the null
hypothesis) being false in degrees of probability. Hence we disproved in degrees that the
Earth was flat-never PROVED it was round.
A statistic=is any number which describes a sample.
A Parameter=any number which describes a population.
Variability-the greater the spread (measured on a histogram).
The (generally) acceptable cutoff for alpha is .05 in tests of significance.
Which aspects of astrology can be tested as categorical variables and which as
quantitative?
Is there Simpson's paradox at work? As in the case of quantitative variables, the effects
of lurking variables can change or even reverse relationships between two categorical
variables. (The Basic Practice of Statistics, 1995, David S. Moore, page 157).
The scientific method involves and incorporates;
1) Empirical verification.
2) Operational definition.
3) Controlled observation.
4) Statistical generalization and empirical confirmation.
Unless you have operationally defined astrology properly, you are wasting time with all of
the above.

Astrology, Science and Society,

The Natural Zodiac is a Universal Experiential and Physicality Template.
I believe this is the reason for the glorification of the pyramidal structure (the
externalized portion of the octahedron) both in Egypt and Central America by the Mayan
civilization (as well as being listed on our own currency). Symbolic information handed
down from the same civilization in my view that perhaps existed somewhere in the location
of the Bermuda rise, Atlantis. Upon destruction of the island some of the survivors went
east to Egypt and some went west to end up in Central America; the archaeological
similarities between these two cultures is amazing. This symbol is representative of the
recognition of the structure involved in physical manifestation-a universal premise. When
we place man and his awareness at center we have the mystical significance of the number
5. It is reflected in the physiological fact that man has the development of the fifth
digit of the hand, the thumb (the ability for abstract reasoning). His creative prowess
and will over the four dimensions template and of the heart and its location in the body.
The universal concept of the four dimensions is also reflected in the biological process
of cell division called mitosis. Cells reflect the polarity of the masculine and feminine
forces that are always required for completeness. Peptide bonds are polar and proteins
have a primary (linear sequence of amino acids), secondary (helix), tertiary (3-d shape)
and quaternary (2 or more linked polypeptides) again reflecting the template.
It has also begun to be recognized that cosmic rays (and x- rays) are involved with the
effects on chromosomal mutation (a radical change from previously existing qualities or
patterns) especially in albinism. These ideas reinforce and corroborate the microcosmic
and macrocosmic reflectivity. It appears, as above, so below is a physical and universal
mechanism, not just a metaphor. The universal premise is always reveled as the base of 4
expressed in modes of 3.
The ancient Chinese and other civilizations also had the recognitions of the premise of
the sexagenary period (a "cycle of cathay") obtained by combining two by two the
twelve (the multiple of 4/3) earthly branches or signs of the zodiac (shih erh ti chih)
with the ten heavenly stems or planets (shih tien kan). All examples of duality were
expressed in yin and yang. These yin and yang lines when combined form the possibility of
64 hexagrams which is precisely the effect of the 20 known amino acids with their three
letter codes which combine in 64 ways. The ancient Sumerians also used the sexagesimal
systems and it is no coincidence that they were based on the number 60, it is the base for
the 120 degree triangle. The Babylonians were also responsible for the cuneiform languages
and the division of the circle by 360 degrees that we use to this day. The seven day week
is also their invention. The numerical pattern in Revelation the apocalypse of John,
follows the same 3, 4, 7, 10, 12 patterns.

Symbology
Symbols of the constellations, much like the ones we use today, were found on ancient
Sumerian boundary stones. They were called Kudurru, and depict celestial images in a
circle with a snake that, according to scholar Zecharia Sitchin, represents the Milky
Way.** The Sumerian words for these celestial symbols were:
GU.ANNA - "heavenly bull" - Taurus
MASH.TAB.BA - "twins" - Gemini
DUB - "pincers, tongs" - Cancer (the crab)
UR.GULA - "lion" - Leo
AB.SIN - "whose father was Sin" - Virgo (the maiden)
ZI.BA.AN.NA - "heavenly fate" - Libra (the scales)
GIR.TAB - "clawer, cutter" - Scorpio
PA.BIL - "defender" - Sagittarius (the archer)
SUHUR.MASH - "goat-fish" - Capricorn
GU - "Lord of the waters" - Aquarius (the water-bearer)
SIM.MAH - "fishes" - Pisces
KU.MAL - "field dweller" - Aries (the ram)
There were even ephemerides in Sumer. Stones covered with phenomenal numbers of cuneiform
lines of figures have been discovered. These appear to be much like our own ephemerides,
and used for calculating the positions of sun , moon, cometary activity.

Because 3D (referring to physicality) is the manifestation of spirit segregated in
material terms, math delineates materiality. This manifestation takes form in terms of
polarities through the template. Within our consciousness or circle of space surrounding
us, planets and points form geometric figures and patterns within the circle. These
figures are the physicalized representation of the matrix of energy between each of the
points and a reference to the person and their world at the center.
There are 3 basic symbols that manifest in physicality-the circle, the square, and the
triangle. Just looking at them from an aesthetic perspective we can sense the energy of
them. The circle feels complete, contained, a "pool" of energy, a
"sphere" of influence. Even in handwriting analysis, the circles are pools of
emotion-energy-motion.The circle is a holistic representation of the self sustaining
enclosed and complete energy. There is no beginning and no end. It is smooth and unbroken.
The planets are circular, stars, orbits (ellipses) and hence the infinite sphere of the
identity is also found within the circle as the horoscope. The circle reflects the
immortality of the spirit. It also is the symbol for the complete arena of time and space.
It is this division of the circle that we then interpret.
The seasons are the effect of the division of the circle by 4 as our planet orbits the sun
with its tilted axis. Single lines-the Cardinal Points divides this space.
It is this division that initiates polarity and duality within the wholeness of the
circle. As cells do, we divide and divide again.
The division or separation of things in physicality polarizes and energizes them. This is
reflective of the segregative or negative energy we discussed in the integrity
definitions. The self encompassing circle divided gives us hemispheres that are now
differentiated halves. The line through the circle gives it a beginning and the endless an
end in time and space.
The energy "All That Is" seeks lines of least resistance, so while these
separative energies divide upon manifestation (negative energy), they also seek
reunification in development (positive energy). This basic conflicting premise generates
developmental tension. The separated whole seeks the reunification of its energy. This
back and forth energy is the sustaining force of the physical universe. It keeps the
awareness of the self alive and conscious that way.
By halving the circle twice we create our second symbol the square or cross reflecting the
idea of negative or segregative energy. Separated consciousness that seeks reunification
and is in tension. The polarity and its counterpart polarization initiates the splaying
out of the "Mask of Eternity", spirit in physical form.
The holistic aspect of the circle has now been interrupted and these lines must change
direction to stay within the confines of the circle. The feeling is of rerouted energy
every time it begins its trek forward. The square is the symbol of judgment and separating
energy symbolically represented as the "knowledge of good and evil", or
conscious interpretation of polarized energy. The separation of the "one" into
different things. Time/space, self/others and inner/outer realities. This is a view of
"All That Is" of itself. It remains all one thing despite this view. The
forbidden fruit is the perception that their separation is the only "real" and
that it is oppositional, rather than of service. The modes (3s) of the signs of the Zodiac
are based on the square.
